Crews battle multi-alarm fire in Port Richmond

Fire crews were called to battle a multi-alarm fire in the Port Richmond section of Philadelphia.

It happened around 2:30 Sunday afternoon in a vacant building on Amber and Rush streets.

First responders reported heavy fire showing upon arrival and quickly struck the second alarm.

No word on any injuries. The exact details of what sparked the blaze are still under investigation.

As of 3:30 pm, firefighters remain on the scene battling the flames.
