MILFORD, Del. - June 6, 2012 (WPVI) -- A couple from Milford, Delaware is facing animal cruelty charges after officers say they found 98 cats and kittens stashed at their home.
Delaware Animal Care and Control released pictures Wednesday taken after the animals were seized.
Officials answered a complaint about Paul and Paula Wintjen's home on Thompsonville Road last week.
They found the animals living in deplorable conditions in the couple's recreational vehicle and in a nearby shed.
Most of the cats needed medical attention.
Authorities say they hope to get them healthy again and find them good homes.
