Police investigate deadly shooting in SW Phila.

PHILADELPHIA - June 9, 2012 (WPVI) -- Police in Southwest Philadelphia made an arrest in a deadly shooting Saturday night.

It happened at around 8:00pm at Cobbs Creek Parkway and Cedar Avenue.

A 28 year old man was shot numerous times in the upper body.

He was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Police also recovered the alleged weapon.

The name of the victim has not been released.

There is no word on a motive.
