Second violent act reported against Rep. Brady

Saturday, June 16, 2012

Hours after an attempted home invasion at the home of Rep. Bob Brady, authorities were investigating a second incident: a bottle thrown through the window of Brady's office in South Philadelphia.

It happened just after 4:00 p.m. Friday.

A Brady spokesperson told Action News that three staffers were in the office watching the congressman's live interview with Dann Cuellar on Action News when an apparently deranged man threw a bottle through the front window.

One staffer and nearby merchants chased the man down and held him for police.

Authorities do not believe the bottle incident and the home invasion are related.
