LOWER SALFORD TWP., Pa. - June 26, 2012 (WPVI) -- Authorities in Montgomery County had a somewhat unbearable task early Tuesday morning.
Franconia officers assisted Lower Salford police and the Pennsylvania Game Commission with capturing a bear off of Route 113.
Officials say the bear was unharmed and was transported to a more suitable location.
Police believe the bear is about 250 to 300 pounds.
Reports of bears seem to be popping up all over the area.
This news comes a day after bears were spotted in Winslow Township, New Jersey.
Earlier in the month, a bear sighting locked down Thomas Richards Elementary in Atco.
