Delaware police investigate attempted luring

BEAR, Del. - June 28, 2012 (WPVI) -- Delaware State Police are investigating an attempted luring in Bear, Delaware Thursday night.

Police say an eight year old boy was approached by a man in a red pickup outside of the Big Lots Store in the Penn Mart Shopping Center in New Castle around 3:30pm Thursday afternoon.

According to police, the boy was asked if he wanted a toy, and was told the toy was inside the truck.

The suspect drove away when the boy's mother came out of the store.
