SWEDESBORO, N.J. - July 6, 2012 (WPVI) -- Authorities say one person was injured when a car and a tractor-trailer collided on the New Jersey Turnpike.
It happened around 6:00 Friday afternoon, in the southbound lanes of the highway in Swedesboro, Gloucester County.
New Jersey State Police say one person was breifly trapped in the wreckage.
The victim was freed and taken to Crozier-Chester Medical Center in an unknown condition.
At least one of the southbound lanes is blocked and traffic is backed up in the area.
No word what sparked the crash.
