PHILADELPHIA - July 6, 2012 (WPVI) -- A Philadelphia police officer has been charged with stealing from a woman in police custody.
25th District Officer Susan Bannon, 45, a 6-year veteran of the department, was arrested Thursday and charged with theft and related offenses.
Police say on August 30, 2011, Bannon took money from a woman who was in temporary police custody.
Bannon has been suspended for 30 days with the intent to dismiss.
