WILMINGTON, Del. - July 10, 2012 (WPVI) -- Police are investigating two burglaries on the same block in Wilmington.
Both happened Tuesday morning in the 1400 block of West 5th Street.
In the first, a 16-year-old girl and her mother reportedly arrived home to find two men burglarizing their home.
The landlord's son tells Action News that mother and daughter were apparently held at gunpoint while the men stole money and jewelry.
A second home on the block was also burglarized around the same time.
The owner told Action News she arrived home shortly after noon to find her electricity shut off and her house ransacked.
Wilmington Police are investigating.
