Human remains found in Grays Ferry house

GRAYS FERRY - July 30, 2012 (WPVI) -- Police say human remains were found at an abandoned home in the Grays Ferry section of Philadelphia.

The remains were found in the 1200 block of Harmony Street.

Renovation workers called police at 7:53 a.m. shortly after making the discovery.

While the medical examiner determined that the remains are human, no further details were available.

An investigation is now underway.
