ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. - August 6, 2012 (WPVI) -- Police have made an arrest after a stabbing near an Atlantic City gentlemen's club early Monday morning.
The suspect, 33-year-old Dennise Ortiz of Mays Landing, was arrested and charged with assault with a deadly weapon.
The stabbing happened around 4:00 a.m. in street in front of the Diving Horse Cabaret and Steakhouse, located in the unit block of Martin Luther King Boulevard.
Police were called to the club for a report of a large fight.
When they arrived, police informed by club security that a man was stabbed in the neck and taken to the hospital by a friend.
Investigators say they recovered the knife used in the attack.
Bail was set at $50,000.
The victim was last reported to be in critical but stable condition.
