Driver killed in NE Philadelphia crash

A driver was killed when the vehicle he was driving flipped onto its roof in Northeast Philadelphia.

It happened 1:50 Sunday morning on East Woodhaven Road near the exit ramp for Knights Road.

Authorities say the 39-year-old driver of a Ford F250, lost control, causing the vehicle to flip over.

The impact of the crash crushed the victim and he was pronounced dead at the scene. His identity has not yet been released.

No word what caused the man to lose control.
