NORTHEAST PHILADELPHIA - October 1, 2012 (WPVI) -- A woman and three children were injured when the minivan they were in crashed into a tree in Northeast Philadelphia Monday morning.
The accident occurred around 7:15 a.m. along the 600 block of Welsh Road.
Police say the driver lost control of the vehicle and slammed into a tree.
One person had to be extricated from the van.
A 44-year-old woman, 7-year-old girl, a 13-year-old girl and a 15-year-old boy were all transported to the hospital with multiple injuries. All four are listed in stable condition.
There is no word on what led to the crash. Police are continuing to investigate.
