Woman hurt in motorcycle crash in Spring Garden

SPRING GARDEN - October 4, 2012 (WPVI) -- Philadelphia police say a 40-year-old woman was injured in a motorcycle crash in Spring Garden early Thursday morning.

The accident around 3:30 a.m. on the 2500 block of Ben Franklin Parkway in front of the Philadelphia Museum of Art.

Officials say the woman was a passenger on a motorcycle when it collided with a car.

The driver was not seriously injured and the car involved stopped nearby.

The woman suffered multiple injuries and is in stable condition.
