NEWARK, N.J. - October 4, 2012 (WPVI) -- A mother and her children jumped to safety from a burning building in Newark, New Jersey early Tuesday.
A camera caught the terrifying moments as the family began jumping from a third floor apartment.
Officials say the family had just moved in and were using candles for light because the utilities were not turned on yet.
They believe one of the candles may have started the fire.
No one was seriously hurt.
