1 critical in Kelly Drive crash

FAIRMOUNT PARK - October 4, 2012 (WPVI) -- One man remains in critical condition after a two vehicle crash shut down Kelly Drive for 90 minutes Thursday night.

The crash happened around 6:30 p.m. on Kelly Drive near Fountain Green Drive.

Police say the driver of a car, traveling south, lost control on the wet road and went into the northbound lanes where the car was hit by a city pickup truck.

The driver of the car was taken to the hospital in critical condition.

The City of Philadelphia vehicle contained two city council employees.

They did not seek treatment.

Police are investigating.
