UPPER SOUTHAMPTON, Pa. - October 9, 2012 (WPVI) -- An overturned tractor-trailer has shut down the westbound lanes of the Pennsylvania Turnpike in Upper Southampton Township Tuesday morning.
The accident happened around 4:15 a.m. and the driver was pinned inside the cab for a short time but was able to get himself out.
He plans to be checked out at an area hospital but appeared to be in stable condition.
The accident caused a fuel spill, closing the center and right lanes westbound on the Turnpike.
Commuters should expect delays.
