The desperate search continues for a 10-month-old girl who was kidnapped in Montgomery County, and police say the child's grandmother was found murdered in their home.

Authorities released additional photographs on Tuesday of Saanvi Venna, the little girl who was abducted on Monday and subject of the current Amber Alert. They also handed out pictures of 61-year-old Satyavathi Venna - the baby's grandmother who was found dead inside the apartment.

The Montgomery County District Attorney's Office is working with the FBI on what is now a dual investigation into Saanvi's disappearance and the murder of Satyavathi Venna.

10-month-old Saanvi was kidnapped from her parents' home in the Sprawlins Marquis Apartment complex in King of Prussia on Monday sometime between 8:00 a.m. and 1:00 in the afternoon.

Action News was there around 1:00 p.m. in the 200 block of West Dekalb Pike as officers swarmed the complex looking for Saanvi.

Satyavathi, who was the child's paternal grandmother and caregiver, and who was visiting from India, was found murdered in the apartment.

The missing child is said to be 2' 6" tall, weighs 21 pounds and may be wearing a white dress with pink flowers.

Late Monday night Saanvi's father, Shiva Venna, made his plea to whoever took his child.

"If someone finds my baby, could you please bring my baby back?" the software engineer told reporters. "Don't do any harm to the baby. Please, please help me in this matter."

Action News had the opportunity to speak with Saanvi's uncle, Ram Venna, during which time we asked if there was anyone that would want to do the family any harm. He replied, saying, "No. Absolutely. We don't have any suspicion on anyone."

Relatives of the victim and infant girl huddled in the lobby of the police department Monday night, but a neighbor of the family made a plea.

"Please, please don't do any harm to the kid, please deliver her immediately, please inform the police," said Vasu Velaga.

Meanwhile inside Marquis Apartments, those who know the girl and her family say the kidnapping and murder has put the community on edge.

"So they are still worrying actually," said Velaga. "The ladies at the apartment community because everybody knows each other."

There are growing security concerns from residents after the kidnapping of the little girl and the killing of her grandmother.

At the Marquis Apartments in Upper Merion Township, there are surveillance cameras and guards at the entrance, but concerned residents at the Marquis are speaking up Tuesday night.

"I don't want to let my kids out of my sight even if you take out the trash. Now I'm scared to be by myself," said Joy Silver.

Authorities are continuing their investigation at this hour.
