71-year-old woman dies in Conshohocken house fire

Firefighters are working to determine what caused a deadly house fire in Conshohocken Saturday night.

A 71-year-old woman was killed after fire broke out in her home in the 300 block of Roberts Avenue in Conshohocken around 3:30 p.m.

Crews were able to knock the blaze out in about half an hour.

The woman's 70-year-old husband is being treated for burns tonight at Bryn Mawr Hospital.
