PORT RICHMOND - November 2, 2012 (WPVI) -- Police are searching for two armed men who robbed an employee at a Dollar store in Port Richmond early Friday morning.
The incident happened just after midnight at the Family Dollar Store on the 3100 block of Frankford Avenue.
Police say an employee was locking the store for the evening when he was approached by two men with a gun.
According to police, the suspects robbed the employee of the night deposit of almost eight thousand dollars.
Both the men fled the scene heading towards Lippincott Street.
No shots were fired and the worker was not injured.
Police are looking for the suspects.
