1 dead in Atlantic County accident

ABSECON, N.J. - November 12, 2012 (WPVI) -- One person is dead after being struck along the White Horse Pike in Absecon, New Jersey.

The victim was a pedestrian walking along a relatively deserted stretch of the highway shortly after 7:30 p.m.

There is no word yet on his or her identity or whether the driver will face charges.
