NEW CASTLE, Del. - November 24, 2012 (WPVI) -- Authorities say an elderly woman was hospitalized after her vehicle struck her neighbor's home in New Castle, Delaware.
It happened around 11:00 Saturday morning on the 400 block of South Street in the Boxwood Development.
Initial reports indicate that the woman was pulling her truck into her driveway when, for an unknown reason, she lost control.
The woman's vehicle struck several items and knocked down a fence before coming to rest in her neighbor's home.
The victim was taken to Christiana Hospital for non-life threatening injuries. No one in the home was injured.
New Castle Township Police continue to investigate.
