3 displaced by Abington fire

Firefighters in Abington, Montgomery County battled a blaze Christmas evening.

The fire broke out around 5:30 p.m. at a home in the 2800 block of Susquehanna Road.

Crews arrived to find heavy fire on the second floor of a two story home.

The fire was placed under control at 5:48 p.m.

The Red Cross is providing food, clothing, and shelter to three people affected by the fire.
