Woman duct taped in Del. hotel robbery

NEWARK, Del. - December 27, 2012 (WPVI) -- A woman was duct taped and robbed in her hotel room in Newark, Delaware overnight.

Police were called out to the Econo Lodge in the Macintosh Plaza.

According to police on scene, two armed men robbed and duct taped a woman inside her room.

After the men fled the scene, the woman was able to free herself and call police.

It is not clear what was taken from the room.

The woman was not injured.

Delaware State Police are continuing to investigate.
