Several injuries in 2-car crash in NE Philadelphia

A two-car crash has left several people injured in Northeast Philadelphia Thursday morning.

The accident occurred around 6:45 a.m. at the intersection of Grant Avenue and Krewstown Road.

Police say two cars collided. One was forced up onto the sidewalk and against a utility pole.

Chopper 6 was overhead as emergency responders put one injured driver onto a stretcher.

One other person was hurt.

The crash is under investigation.
