Philly officer charged with aggravated assault

Philadelphia police have arrested one of their own on charges of aggravated assault and terroristic threats.

Authorities allege 41-year-old Officer James Timms was involved in a fight with his wife while off-duty last Wednesday.

He is a 16-year veteran of the force, working in the 35th district.

Timms is suspended with intent to dismiss.
