NEW CASTLE, Del. - January 12, 2013 (WPVI) -- Police have identified and arrested a woman who they say was behind an armed robbery at a trailer park in New Castle County.
It happened around 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday afternoon.
Authorities say 23-year-old Jamise Brown approached a 45-year-old woman who was walking in the Glasgow Trailer Park community.
Brown, armed with what was thought to be a handgun, demanded her belongings.
The victim complied and the suspect fled in a light colored sedan.
An investigation revealed the vehicle to be a light blue 1995 Geo Prism.
Officers spotted the car travelling along Route 40 and caught Brown behind the wheel.
A search revealed a pellet gun in the vehicle's glove compartment and police believe this was the weapon used in the robbery.
Brown faces robbery and weapons charges and remains in custody.
