14 injured in Ocean County van, SUV collision

LAKEWOOD, N.J. - January 29, 2013 (WPVI) -- 14 people were injured after a collision involving a van and an SUV in Ocean County.

The crash happened around 7:30 p.m. Tuesday on New Hampshire Avenue and Pine Street in Lakewood.

Police have not said what caused the van and SUV to collide.

Of the 14 injured, at least one person suffered life threatening injuries. All were taken to area hospitals for treatment.

Officials say the people in the van worked for a rental car agency in Newark.

Lakewood police are investigating.
