1 injured in head-on crash in South Jersey

GLOUCESTER TWP., N.J. - February 5, 2013 (WPVI) -- Police say one person was injured in a head-on crash in Gloucester Township, New Jersey early Tuesday morning.

The accident occurred around 12:30 a.m. on Erial Road near Fox Chase Drive.

According to police, one person was trapped and had to be rescued and taken to the hospital.

There is no word yet on the victim's condition.

The road was shut down in both directions for about an hour but has since reopened.

Investigators are trying to determine if icy roads played a factor in the crash.
