LAWNSIDE, N.J. - March 11, 2013 (WPVI) -- Camden County authorities are seeking the public's help in identifying a man suspected of placing a device designed to look like a bomb in the Lawnside borough's municipal building.
The Camden County Prosecutor's Office is issuing a $1,000 reward for his arrest and conviction.
Officials say the man seen in the pictures is believed to be the person who put a bag containing a pair of flares taped to two pipes in the municipal building elevator on Thursday.
The name of Mayor Mary Ann Wardlow was written on it.
Police investigated and it was revealed the device did not contain explosives, but was instead filled with screws.
Authorities say it would not have been possible to detonate the device.
The images were captured between 7:00 a.m. and 7:15 a.m.
Anyone who can identify this person should contact Camden County Prosecutor's Office Investigator Fred Lang at (609) 381-4940.
