It started with a traffic stop in Camden.

49-year-old Officer Sekou Reid-Bay was out of his vehicle when, police say, Blake Bills jumped into the officer's cruiser and took off.

In the newly released video, the reflection from a window shows the patrol car taking off and striking Officer Reid-Bay.

Reid-Bay's leg was broken in the incident. He just was released from the hospital on Wednesday.

Witnesses ran into the nearby Camden Police Headquarters to alert them of what just happened.

Authorities say Bills then picked up his girlfriend Shayna Sykes, who's accused of stealing a Philadelphia police car later in the day.

Prosecutors say heroin fueled their dangerous joyride and crime spree.
