Pedestrian struck and killed on Pennsylvania Turnpike in King of Prussia

A pedestrian was struck and killed on the Pennsylvania Turnpike in King of Prussia late Monday night.

Pennsylvania State Police were called out to the eastbound lanes of the turnpike near the Valley Forge Interchange at 10:51 p.m.

Police confirm to Action News one person was fatally struck.

There is no word yet on how the incident occurred.

Due to police activity, one lane of the turnpike was getting by in the area.
