Internet prostitution sting brings 4 arrests in Philadelphia

Philadelphia Police say an undercover crackdown on internet prostitution has led to four arrests.

Over the course of 3 days, the department's City Wide Vice Enforcement Unit placed ads on a personal services website advertising the services of uncover female police officers posing as prostitutes.

The undercover officers agreed to meet several men at a hotel in Center Center Philadelphia on Thursday, and when the men arrived they were arrested.

Charged with Patronizing a Prostitute and Solicitation are:

  • George Thomas 40, of Philadelphia
  • Roxie Turner 18, of Philadelphia
  • Bruce Hertzfeld 49, of Narberth, PA
  • Jonathan Nadler 43, of Wyncote, PA
