Firefighter, couple injured in fast-moving house fire in Swedesboro

Officials say a firefighter and a couple were injured in a fast-moving house fire in Swedesboro, New Jersey early Thursday morning.

The blaze broke out around 2:45 a.m. on the 300 block of Weatherby Avenue.

Authorities say, a firefighter suffered a minor leg injury and a husband and wife suffered smoke inhalation.

They were taken to Crozer Chester Hospital for treatment.

The fire was placed under control just before 3:20 a.m.

Investigators have not determined what sparked the blaze.
