Thursday, July 11, 2013

Police have released surveillance video of an armed robbery at an auto repair shop Wednesday morning in North Philadelphia.

Just before 11:00 a.m. officers were called out for the report of a robbery at ARM Enterprise Inc. Foreign and American Auto Repair, located on the 1200 block of Ridge Avenue.

Police say a man came into the garage and held three employees at gunpoint.

Video shows the suspect in a white hat pulling out a gun and waiving it at one of the employees.

The suspect then struck the employee over the head and fired several shots; luckily, no one was hit.

The gunman took $750 and more than 150 inspection and emission stickers from the safe before fleeing the scene.

The injured employee was treated at the scene by medics.

Anyone with information is asked to call police.
