Suspect sought in burglary of Germantown home

Philadelphia police need your help in identifying a burglary suspect who robbed a home in the city's Germantown section Wednesday afternoon.

Police say a 27-year-old woman returned to her home in the 200 block of West Tulpehocken Street to find an unidentified woman in her second floor bedroom.

The victim told police, her bedroom was ransacked and the suspect fled taking two gold rings, one sterling silver ring and a white gold ring, along with assorted clothing.

The victim was not hurt and police are looking for a black female, 15-18 years-of-age and medium brown complexion.

She was seen wearing a yellow shirt, black shorts and black and pink sneakers with pink laces.
