HOCKESSIN, Del. - August 6, 2013 (WPVI) -- Delaware State Police are investigating a two vehicle accident in Hockessin that left a woman seriously injured.
It was just before 7:30 a.m. Tuesday when a pickup truck collided with a car at the intersection of Newport Gap Road and Graves Road.
The 61-year-old driver of the car became trapped in her vehicle as a result of the crash and needed to be extricated by firefighters. She was then flown to Christiana Hospital for treatment.
The male driver of the pickup truck was also transported to Christiana Hospital with minor injuries.
There is no word on what led to the crash as police continue to investigate.
