Man murdered on front steps of Port Richmond home

PHILADELPHIA - August 7, 2013 (WPVI) -- Police say a man in his 30's was murdered outside a house while sitting on the steps in the city's Port Richmond section Tuesday night.

The man was shot several times around 11:00 p.m. on the 3300 block of Agate Street.

According to police, the victim was sitting outside on the front steps of a house when someone opened fire on him.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.

So far, there are no suspects in custody and police are trying to determine the motive.
