Man shot and killed at close range in West Philadelphia

WEST PHILADELPHIA - August 9, 2013 (WPVI) -- Police say an unidentified man was shot and killed at close range in West Philadelphia early Friday morning.

The shooting happened around 1:45 a.m. on the unit block of South Robinson Street.

The victim was shot multiple times and pronounced dead at the scene.

So far, there have been no arrests or a motive determined.

Police were told a red car was seen fleeing from the neighborhood.
