Police investigating alleged indecent assault on S. Broad Street

POINT BREEZE - August 12, 2013 (WPVI) -- Philadelphia police are investigating a report of an indecent assault overnight in the city's Point Breeze section.

Officers were dispatched shortly after 3:00 a.m. to the 1400 block of South Broad Street.

A woman reported she was walking home when a man pushed her into her door and then assaulted her.

The victim was transported to Special Victims Unit headquarters to be interviewed.

Police have not released a description of the suspect.
