Car crashes into building in Rhawnhurst

RHAWNHURST - September 27, 2013 (WPVI) -- A vehicle crashed into a vision care center in the Rhawnhurst section of the city.

It happened Friday morning on the 2100 block of Cottman Avenue.

Authorities say the driver lost control, smashing the car into the side of Eye Options.

Medics were called to the scene. One person, believed to be the driver, was taken to Nazareth Hospital for non-life threatening injuries.

Police are still investigating what caused the accident.
