CLAYMONT, Del. - September 30, 2013 (WPVI) -- Delaware State Troopers are investigating the death of a delivery person who was crushed while removing computer equipment from a truck in Wilmington.
The incident occurred at approximately 10:58 a.m. Monday at 2500 Grubb Road.
Police say a 43-year-old Baltimore man began to unload a package containing a large piece of computer equipment from a delivery truck. The package was placed onto the truck's lift by the man, who then fell to the ground.
The package then fell from the lift onto the man, crushing him.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The investigation continues.
