13-year-old girl struck by vehicle in Kingsessing

KINGSESSING - October 9, 2013 (WPVI) -- Philadelphia police are investigating an accident that left a 13-year-old girl in critical condition in Kingsessing.

It happened around 7:00 p.m. Wednesday at 52nd and Greenway.

Police say a 13-year-old girl was crossing the intersection when she was struck by a car.

The vehicle stopped at the scene.

The girl was taken to Children's Hospital of Philadelphia in critical condition.
