Man shot in the neck in Logan

PHILADELPHIA - October 11, 2013 (WPVI) -- Police say a 29-year-old man was shot in the neck in the city's Logan section early Friday morning.

The shooting happened just before 4:00 a.m. on the 5000 block of North Broad Street.

The victim claims he was approached by two men in an attempted robbery.

He says they shot him in the neck and he ran to a nearby Sunoco gas station for help.

He was then taken to Albert Einstein Medical Center where he remains in critical condition.

Police are searching for the suspects.

The victim's name has not been released.
