2 dead in Holmesburg motorcycle crash

HOLMESBURG - October 13, 2013 (WPVI) -- Authorities say two people are dead after a motorcycle crash in the Holmesburg section of Philadelphia.

It happened around 10:00 Saturday night on State Road, near Ashburner Street.

Police say the rider on the motorcycle lost control and crashed.

One person was pronounced dead. A second person died at Aria-Torresdale Hospital.

The identities of the victims have not been released.
