Arrest in murder of woman in Tabernacle Township

TABERNACLE TWP., N.J. - October 14, 2013 (WPVI) -- Police have made an arrest in the murder of a woman in Tabernacle Township, Burlington County.

Terrance Patterson, 37, of Trenton, has been charged with murder and kidnapping in the death of 47-year-old Lisa Armstrong, also of Trenton.

Armstrong's body was found early last week by a surveying crew along a wooded area off Route 206.

Police believe she had been shot and killed at that location.

Patterson was identified as a suspect and arrested on Saturday, according to New Jersey State Police.

Police say the motive in this killing remains under investigation.

Patterson is being held on $1,000,000 bail.
