Monday, October 21, 2013

Investigators have determined that a Monday morning fire in Pennsauken was intentionally set.

Flames broke out before 8:30 a.m. Monday at a two-story row home in the 4600 block of Lafayette Avenue.

The blaze spread to an adjacent house before crews were able to get the upper hand.

Images from Chopper 6 HD over the scene showed several firefighters on a roof and smoke coming from the home.

Two firefighters received minor burns. They were transported to the hospital where they were treated and released.

The search is on for the person responsible.
