Child luring suspect sought in Upper Gwynedd Twp.

Friday, November 15, 2013

Police in Montgomery County say a little girl ran from her bus stop Friday morning after a strange man tried to lure her to his car.

It was 8:35 a.m. when a gold Honda four door sedan pulled up next to the 10-year-old girl, who was standing alone at her bus stop on Morris Road at Blue Fox Drive in Upper Gwynedd Township.

The man asked the girl her name, to which the girl said it was none of his business. The man then asked where she lived, and that's when the girl ran.

She told police that the vehicle followed her but that she was able to elude him.

The Honda was last seen turning right onto Muhlenberg Drive from Morris Road.

The suspect is described as a black male in his 40's with a goatee.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Upper Gwynedd Township Police at 215-699-5861.

The incident remains under investigation.
