2 arrested for violent Center City attack

Two men have been arrested for a violent attack in Center City.

The incident happened around 2:00 a.m. on November 10th.

Police say 27-year-old Matthew Morris and 32-year-old Miguel Maldonado beat and robbed a 36-year-old man as he was walking on South Camac Street.

The victim was knocked unconscious.

The man's wallet, cell phone and a diamond necklace were all taken.

Police say they got several tip calls after they released surveillance video of the attack.

Those calls led to the arrest of Morris and Maldonado.
