Burglar steals $16K+ home theater equipment in Germantown

Philadelphia Police are on the hunt for a burglar caught on camera stealing more than $16,000 worth of liquor and home theater equipment from a restaurant in Germantown.

It happened at 7:50 a.m. Thursday at Temptations Gourmet Restaurant in the 200 block of West Chelten Avenue.

Detectives say the suspect got through a side door.

Surveillance video shows him stealing bottles of liquor. He also took a home theater system and stereo surround sound equipment.

He fled on foot in an unknown direction.

The suspect is described as a black male with a medium complexion, a beard and a light mustache.

He was wearing a dark colored knit hat and a dark colored leather style jacket.
